Viking is the most productive cultivar of the Aronia Berry bushes, yielding as high as five tons per acre. The fruits are known as one of the super fruits for containing some of the highest levels of phytonutrients. Up to 12 pea size berries that form a loose cluster of fruits, which are deep purple to black. Fruits ripen in late summer and are easily harvested by hand. Hardiness zones 4-7
