Purple/Black Grapes
Concord is the most famous American grape with vigorous, hardy and productive vines that produce medium-sized clusters bearing large blue-black berries. Concord grapes are tough skinned, flavorful and highly aromatic - an all purpose grape used to make grape jelly, juice, and grape flavored soft drinks. Reliably hardy to zone 5, zone 4 is spotty. Harvest early October.
Concord Seedless is a sport of Concord with clusters and berries smaller than Concord while offering a vine with more cold hardiness than its parentage. Fruit matures earlier than Concord with negligible seed traces and good flavor that is perfect for pies and preserves. Reliably hardy down to zone 4. Harvest early October.
Valiant is extremely winter hardy and produces small, compact clusters of small berries that ripen reliably. It has small seed traces and is used for juice and jelly where other varieties are not hardy enough to be grown. Hardy to zone 3! Harvest late September.

Catawba is a vigorous, seedless American grape variety known for its pinkish-red to purple berries with a sweet, tangy, and spicy flavor, making it popular for fresh eating, juice, jams, and rosé or sparkling wines. Hardy to zone 5. Harvest late September.
Swenson Red is a meaty, red, table grape with a distinctive fruity flavor and notes of strawberry. Hardy to zone 4. Harvest early October.
Reliance grape is a hardy, early-ripening seedless variety featuring tender-skinned, pinkish-red berries with a sweet, fruity flavor. Reliably hardy to zone 5 with some success in zone 4. Harvest early September.
Vanessa is considered the tastiest of the red table grapes, Vanessa has a sweet strawberry-like flavor and a slight tang. Hardy down to zone 5. Harvest early September.
Yellow/Green Grapes
The Himrod grapevine is a highly regarded, cold-hardy, white seedless table grape known for producing large, loose clusters of sweet, juicy, yellow-gold fruit with a hint of honey. Hardy down to zone 5. Harvest in early September.
